Christy grew up in the small town of Oak Grove, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana Tech University, got married, then transferred to and graduated from U of A at Fayetteville with a B.S. degree in human development and family relation/social work in 1994. She lives in Amity where she helps her husband, Charles, and son, Blake, raise cattle. Christy is the founder and director of Ryan's Call Foundation--a non-profit organization for water safety and drowning prevention in memory of her oldest son, Ryan. She is an active member of the community church and schools, as well as a passionate livestock show mom and FFA supporter. She is very excited and honored to have the opportunity to work as office manager at Glenwood Pediatrics and serve this great community!

Dr. Deputy is a hometown girl who has compassion for babies, children, and teens, as well as their families. As the 2009 Kirby High School Valedictorian and a summa cum laude and Honors College graduate of Henderson State University in 2013, she knows the meaning and importance of staying close to home and providing for the local communities. She received her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in 2017. She most recently completed her pediatric training from Arkansas Children's Hospital in 2020. She is up-to-date on the most recent standard of care and best practice medicine. Dr. Deputy will listen to your concerns and give you the time you need to take care of your children. As the county's only pediatrician, she will be taking new patients immediately. Dr. Deputy enjoys watching basketball, taking spin classes, camping at the lake, but most of all she loves being around family and friends. She cannot wait to meet and take care of your sweet kiddos!
