What are your hours?

  • Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5 pm

  • Friday 8 am to 12 pm

 

What do I do if it is after hours or the weekend or a holiday?

  • Please seek medical attention at urgent care or convenient care clinics if it is an issue that cannot wait for a clinic visit; please go to the emergency department for serious issues. Immediately call 911 for emergency assistance, if needed!

 

How often does my child need a well visit?

  • Baby visits--newborn, 1 week/1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years and then yearly. Also, remember our prenatal visits we offer.

  • Children and teens--yearly.

Do you accept patients with complex medical history?

  • Yes! At Glenwood Pediatrics, we love to take care of your children, no matter how complex. We will coordinate with your specialty doctors to make sure that we have good continuity through the pediatrician and follow recommendations from all specialties involved.

 

How do I get my child switched over and/or established?

  • If you have Medicaid, please call Connect Care at 800-275-1131 and ask to have your child's PCP changed to Loren Deputy [same day]

  • Or if you want to avoid wait times and your child does not need to be seen urgently, you can make the switch online by clicking on this link:                          [please allow 3 days to take effect]

  • If you have private insurance, most allow you to go to whichever pediatrician you prefer; call the number on the back of your card to verify

Is there a patient portal?

  • Absolutely! In this portal, you can sign consent forms, complete insurance information, and fill out developmental screeners prior to your visit to save time in the waiting room. Also, your doctor may send you information after your visit based on what your child was diagnosed with. 

 

Do you offer telemedicine?

  • We are happy to offer telehealth, as indicated by the doctor. Please                        to pre-register and request telemedicine visits. The clinic code is 2786.

 

What is your clinic's view on vaccinations?

  • The American Academy of Pediatrics advocates for policies and programs that help ensure all children are vaccinated and that all communities are protected from devastating vaccine-preventable diseases.

What insurances do you accept?

  • We are currently working on credentialing with several insurance companies; keep an eye out for updates.

  • Currently accepting Medicaid/ARKids, Ambetter/Total Care, network with Multiplan, United Healthcare, BCBS, and Qualchoice!

 

Do you offer interpreter services?

  • We are pleased to partner with Language Link interpreter services, offering >200 languages for translation, so please come see us!

How is your clinic handling the COVID-19 pandemic?

  • Staff will always wear a mask and use proper hand-washing, along with frequent germ-x use, as well as disinfecting rooms between patients.

  • Patients and families will also need to wear a mask in clinic; if they do not have one, we will supply them.

  • Please call us from your vehicle to "check-in" for your appointment and we will call back when we are able to escort you directly to your exam room in order to keep our families as safe as possible.
